Bill Walton Tribute Night

I’ve led the visual direction for the Bill Walton Tribute Night, a true celebration of life for one of the greats. The night earned national recognition from the NBA and became one of the season’s standout moments. I wasn’t around during his time to see him play basketball, but I was lucky enough to watch him announce Pac-12 sports, “The Conference of Champions,” as he’d like to call it. Designing the overall look and feel for this night, I got to use tie dye for the first time, in graphics and in the special Blazers x Grateful Dead shirt of the night. It was also a rare moment where I got to bring back the original 1970's Trail Blazers logo that was applied on all social platforms and graphics. It was a fun and colorful way to honor Bill and his legacy.
