Biden Campaign
Web ads from the Biden campaign for the 2020 election. I worked with senior designer Stacey Kaie in producing these for swing states. Ads averaged 1 million with 500k impressions. My role was to reformat ads that were designed by the senior designer to fit different dimensions on the web and I would also give advice on design decisions. I would also sort through images in the campaign library to use for ads. The North Carolina highlight ad had the most engagement. I suggested using a yellow highlight instead of one of the muted campaign colors because the goal was to capture someone’s attention, it was also getting close to election day and we wanted to make sure everyone had the information that they needed. By looking at this ad at first glance there is no indication that this is a Biden-Harris ad, except for the small “Paid for by Biden for President” tag. That series of ads became one of the top-performing ads on Facebook for the campaign.
